Letting GO
Did you know that seeing the sunrise and sunset can have incredible psychological effects? Research shows The sunsets can enhance long-lasting satisfaction in life and have been proven to relieve stress and increase happiness. Why not try getting up that little bit earlier to have your morning coffee in the early morning glow, or take a short walk on an evening and get those good vibes.
Stress has a huge impact on your physical health. Do you hold on to some stress that you could let go? How often are you stressed? Is the stress you feel situational or do you feel stressed or overwhelmed most of the time?
If you find yourself stressed about a situation. Look at the situation, can you do anything to improve it? Is it within your control or out of your control? If there is something you can do, do those steps, if there is nothing you can do, could you choose to let that stress go?
Breathing techniques can be hugely helpful, it can be hard to remember this in times of stress but if you are reading this and you have a situation that is causing you great stress. For the sake of your health give this breathing technique a go. Inhale deeply for the count of four, fill your tummy as well as your chest. Hold for the count of 4 and exhale for the count of 4. Repeat 3 times. These deep breaths signal to our parasympathetic nervous system to calm the body down, it helps manage our stress responses and helps decrease anxiety.
